The Woman In Black-Audience Reviews(Submit your own review)Is it just me? 10/28/2009 My husband and I both found this play incredibly boring. We left at intermission. We always love the Theatre on the Square plays but could not get into it. Perhaps it got better after intermission?? Wonderful play---Absolutely Riveting Performances 10/17/2009 Woman in Black with Gil Brady and David Milford is two hours of pure entertainment. These two did not just hold audience attention, they COMMANDED it from beginning to end. The play was suspenseful and flowed easily from one sequence and character to the next---no mean feat in this "play within a play" genre. This was our first visit to the Theater in the Square and won't be our last. brilliant cast 10/16/2009 I've been attending Theater in the Square shows for years and have enjoyed them all - but I must say WIB is thus far my favorite. The direction was superb, the set and sound fantastic, and the actors were WONDERFUL. David Milford gave yet another beautiful, nuanced performance and newcomer Gil Brady was completely riveting. I'll be back next week with friends! Gil Brady had me at 'hello' 10/16/2009 Gil Brady oozes genius into one of the most challenging types of work to pull off. His flawless execution is simply dazzling possessing a magnetism that holds his audience for nearly two hours. Brady crafts investment from his audience and brews up vivid imagination leaving the faint of heart and not so, shifting in their seat fearing TWIB. A must-see show for this Halloween season. Creepy, clever, cunning! Gil Brady, welcome to Atlanta. We hope you are here to stay! David Milford is brilliant 10/11/2009 David Milford proves his versatility as Kipps. He plays at least eight different characters and was believable as all. It was delightful to watch. The ghost was terrifying. I saw the Friday night Oct 9 8 pm show. The audience applauded for a long time but the actors didn't take a bow. Couldn't understand why.
