Wonderful Performance

It was my wife's and mine first play at this theater and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a very interesting story brought very much alive on the stage. Great job by all.

A great performance!

Thanks to everyone involved in this wonderful play! Everything from the play itself, the directing, the stage set, the sounds, the music, and of course the acting were top notch. I'm ready to read more about this amazing event and to head out to Kennesaw to see The General. Thanks, Theater in the Square for another great production!

What a pleasant surprise!

I attended "Stealing Dixie" last Thursday evening (8-19) and enjoyed it thoroughly. I must confess I had modest expectations as to how an action story like the stealing of a train could possibly be depicted in a stage play and yet, the play manages to pull it off wonderfully. A complete surprise was the rich period music interspersed throughout; the actors play instruments and blend their voices beautifully. Thank you for bringing this compelling American story to life on the stage.

I wanted to let you know that last night was my first experience with live theater and my guest and I enjoyed it very much. The actors were very talented and I found myself getting involved in the story.

Stealing Dixie Opening Night

As often is the case the Theater on the Square has a winner. Stealing Dixie was a nice blending of a historic event set in the Marietta area during 1862 and other historical facts concerning the American Civil War. The author added some nice thought provoking comments intertwined with the plot. I thought it well done and worth a look.
