Conversations with my Wife
10/19/2010
We saw Conversations with My Wife, and did not like it at all! All of the details surrounding Sara's death were frightfully overdone, as was the acting by John Stephens playing the part of Sam, the long-suffering widower. My applause at play's end was intended to celebrate the end of MY suffering.

I really enjoyed the play. It was life as we know and live it.

Good choice of plays - very though provoking and good set. Should be appreciated more by the audience.

I just sent a note to Bert Osborne at AJC telling him what a crappy job he did reviewing "Conversations...." We thought it was terrific and the acting was excellent. The very quirky and terminally pained character Sam was nicely balanced by steady and logical Sara. We would like to see more of both of them.

We saw Conversations With My Wife and thought it was great!! Kudos to the playwright, John Stevens and Judy Leavell for splendid performances, to the director and the rest of the staf for a great production! We would enjoy seeing it again. It showed a fine balance of pathos sprinkled with humor and the joy of a loving relationship,

Well done!!

We saw Conversations With My Wife last evening. We just wanted to share how wonderful this show was. It was so poignant and touching. In this age where divorce is the norm, it was very special to witness an enduring relationship that was so special to those involved. The acting was superb - please share our comments with the cast.
Thank you!
