Marketing Director
MARKETING DIRECTOR - Theatre in the Square, Cobb County’s professional theater, seeks a full-time Marketing Director. The Theatre performs nine plays annually on two stages, has a budget size of $1.6m, and is now in its 30th season.
We seek a creative, highly focused individual with leadership ability in marketing, media relations, social media, and community relations. Ideal candidate will have at least three years of professional experience in marketing and/or post-graduate training, and an understanding of theatre and/or the performing arts. Responsibilities include creating and implementing annual marketing plan, including publications, social networking, and public relations. This position has primary responsibility over the earned income lines for the Theatre, and candidate must be based in metro Atlanta.
Our candidate needs excellent written, verbal and organizational skills and fluency in Microsoft Office and graphic design packages, either PhotoShop or Quark. Experience with e-marketing, website maintenance, Tessitura, photography, art direction and/or graphic design also helpful.
