Current Audition Information
Theatre in the Square announces auditions for A GREATER TUNA by Ed Howard, Jaston Williams , and Joe Sears, directed by Ed Howard on Monday, March 22. Appointments will be taken beginning March 8th.
PRODUCTION DATES:
First rehearsal: June 1
Opens: June 23
Closes: July 18
This is a MAINSTAGE UNION production.
Seeking:
1 Man to play half of the twenty or so inhabitants of Tuna, Texas in A GREATER TUNA, the first of the tetralogy of the Tuna plays. Life in a small town as it can only be in a king size Texas way. This role consists of the following characters: Arles Struvie, Didi Snavely, Harold Dean Lattimer, Petey Fisk, Jody, Stanley, and Charlene Bumiller, Chad Hartford,Phinas Blye, and the irascible Vera Carp.
The remaining role has been cast.

Theatre in the Square is a non-profit professional theatre employing equity and non-equity performers. Theatre in the Square has a Small Professional Theatre (SPT) level 8 Agreement with Actors Equity Association (AEA).

Rehearsal and Performance Schedule
Mainstage: 3 1/2 weeks of rehearsal, 6 weeks of performance, Tuesday - Saturday at 8pm, Sun. 2:30 and 7pm. 2 weeks of day rehearsals, 1 week of evening.
Alley Stage: 3 1/2 weeks of rehearsal, 4 weeks of performance, Tuesday - Saturday at 8pm., Sun. 2:30pm.
3 weeks of night rehearsals, weekend days.
