How I Became a Pirate

09/15/2010 - Posted by Raye Varney, Managing Director
It has been an amazing week. First, Monday night we hosted our friends at The Suzi Bass Awards for their annual nomination party - and we got 10 nominations for our 09/10 season. (Details below.)

Tuesday we opened How I Became a Pirate - and our tiny audience adored it. We actually had two shows on our first day, because the school shows are sold to the rafters and we are adding noon performances.

Tuesday at lunch, Palmer and I and all of the staff that could get away went down to the Cobb Energy Centre so that we could receive the 2010 Outstanding Arts Organization Award from the KSU Flourish Awards. It was wonderful. We are so grateful to KSU and their entire team, and we feel very flattered and honored. We even made the paper!

Thanks to all of you who are patrons, subscribers, and donors - you make all of the above possible!

Raye
