About the performance
Playwright and actress Joanna Maddox pays tribute to space pioneer, Dr. Mae Jemison, the first black female astronaut, in this one-woman show. Dr. Mae Jemison made history when she blasted off into space aboard “The Endeavor,” on September 12, 1992. Joanna’s shows have captivated audiences of all ages. The format is both entertaining and educational. Come and be inspired.
